do you think a run-of-the-mill sex tape of two consenting adults is really high on the list of “depraved criminal acts”?
Well, this question is in bad faith because one of the parties didn't consent to making a sex tape.
But I would consider filming someone having sex without their knowledge to be depraved.

I mean we know for a fact there are multiple videos that were on his iPad from a hidden camera in a clock. He admitted to it.

We know for a fact that he had a hidden camera inside a clock. He’s admitted as much.

So? We get it, there was a camera.

You responded to a guy that said
And you said
It is facts. Toviano admitted it was factual.

It’s less easy to make that claim when you have a hidden camera. Which he did.

Jesus Christ some of you are idiots
The issue is that he had a hidden camera and was filming without consent
If that is run of the mill in your opinion, then I suggest seeking help

Hypothetical...you have a hidden camera in your back yard to watch your house. You go on a date and come home and end up having consensual sex. Did you commit a felony because your security system recorded the sex?
I don’t know, did you have sex in the backyard in your hypothetical? Because that is where you placed the security camera “to watch your house.”
Your hypothetical is retarded and has nothing to do with this situation in the slightest. For it to make even a bit of sense, it would require having a security system with networks of cameras INSIDE the house.
And I’m sure Toviano makes a little NIL money, but I doubt very seriously he owns a house. He very likely rents an apartment. Do you know anybody who has ever paid for a security system in a rented apartment? Do you know any 19-year-old college athletes that are so scared of…whatever…that they would feel the need to have a hidden camera in their bedroom?

1) Run of the mill sex tapes are made with visible cameras
2) it was NOT 2 consenting adults. She consented to have sex, yes. And he was not charged with rape or sexual assault. What she DID NOT consent to, however, was being recorded having sex. I think the fact that he had to hide a camera in his clock is to do it is proof of that.
3) I haven’t ever felt the need to sit down and rank my list of “depraved criminal acts”, but there is no doubt this would be on it.

I wonder how many men in their early 20s, would do this and the ones who say they wouldn't are in denial.

Well, his heart is beating...thats a fact too.
Camera alone doesn't carry the elements of the crime. The rest are the facts, or lack thereof, that we don't know or have.
But, by all.means, carry on qith your synaptic snippets

This thread had gone just like you would expect any of these type of threads to go.
You have:
1- A small Low IQ group that will twist and turn every detail, minimize, justify, even inventing their own downplayed theories (and believing them) because they play football for LSU and want them to keep playing football for LSU.
2- A small Low IQ group that sees a black player getting accused of a crime and immediately jump to the worst. The sky has fallen, the player should be kicked off the team immediately, and buried under the jail.
3- The majority, who realize it's a bad situation for the kid and LSU, and that's it's early in the process. They will just wait for more details and hope for the best possible turn out.
Groups 1-2 argue back and forth for pages and pages, and scream the loudest, overshadowing all the logic.

I had plenty of sex in my early 20s. It was before cellphone cameras, but I always had a video camera. Bought a really nice one when I graduated to make short films. Had a long-time girlfriend, who probably would have been open to it had I asked. Never once crossed my mind.
Had plenty of sex in my late 20s/early 30s too when I did have a cellphone camera. My future wife would have almost definitely let me record us (before we got married, obviously

Good lord at trying to make light of this. HE filmed someone performing sexual acts who DID NOT consent to being filmed. This is disgusting.
On top of that, he clearly SAVED the videos for some reason because she found out by looking on his tablet and was able to easily find the videos.

And if the rumor is true, he sold the video without her knowing.

People have no issue at all with arguing about situations they know next to NOTHING about. It’s one of the strangest things about this place

Awful lot of people in this thread making up things that are NOWHERE in that article- it says only: “The victim found the videos on his laptop…”- It says nothing about ANYBODY ELSE SEEING THEM, OR SHOWING THEM TO FRIENDS
This is my point exactly
Someone SPECULATES or completely makes something up, it gets repeated over and over and is then picked up and ran with as a fact.
Then once all the facts and pertinent information come out, people are left completely dumbfounded on how they were so wrong to the point where they’ll accuse police agencies of foul play, incompetence, or both
