Jarvis is making some incredible catches in the Baltimore game. One of my favorite tigers and, even though Odell gets all the publicity, Jarvis, I believe, is a better all around receiver.

I was dumbfounded that he got picked in the 3rd round.

And he blocks like a O Tackle

Edit: I am still dumbfounded that he was picked in the late 2nd round

Jarvis is a better slot. Odell is better on the outside. Both have good shots to make it to Canton if they keep it up.

He was a late second round pick by the Dolphins.

What do you think Jarvis does better than Odell?

I can’t think of anything

I think a lot of our fans confuse their liking Jarvis more to him being a better wide receiver. He’s not. Odell is a top 3 WR in the NFL. Landry is not. Case in point, Landry played in all 16 games and still finished with about 100 fewer receiving yards and fewer TDs than what Beckham amassed in 12 games.

Jarvis Landry was a BEAST in college and he was better than Odell. If I was to start a team, I would have Jarvis for his talent, his leadership and his character. He is a true team player and a leader. Odell was not a leader and still is not.

Unfortunately he couldn't snag one in at the Baltimore 30 late in the game which could have positioned Cleveland into a makable FG position, and a potential win.

I take this personally because I'm a Steelers fan and wanted to see Jarvis and the Browns pull this game out of the fire. As it is, the Steelers have only a 0.04% chance of making the playoffs now. Really remote.

Landry and Beckham were both very good in college. Beckham was and is still a better wide receiver than Landry and every GM in the NFL would agree with that. Again, people too often confuse their personal feelings of the two with their worth as players.

I love Landry but I’d be lying if I said he was a better player than Beckham because he just isn’t. There isn’t anything on the football field except maybe blocking that he does better than Beckham.

Landry has played on a shitty team with a shitty QB. Baker Mayfield appears to be the real deal and hopefully we will see Jarvis get his due respect with a respectable QB.

Or muff a punt against Georgia.

Or whine and cry like an SJW.

Blocking, leadership, arguably hands.

Odell is a better WR though. He’s FAR better at getting open and is better with the ball in his hands.

ETA:
And Jarvis is an all time favorite tiger of mine.

I know it doesn’t matter much since they both play WR.

But, I think Odell is a better WR while Jarvis is a better all around football player.

At LSU at least Jarvis had better hands, made more tough catches and was a beast on special teams.
