Well deserved. He was very much a man amongst boys his entire Lutcher career.

That was about the only 2 good plays to come out of the Les Miles offense that day and it took 2 miracle catches by Jarvis to get that

Which one? The one-handed one in Fayetteville was spectacular but honestly the one where he sacrificed his AND the defender’s body to grip it and pull it in—that’s the best catch I’ve ever seen.

That was two different games in back to back seasons.

I agree. It’s not beautiful, like the other one, but it’s the most improbable catch I’ve ever seen - even more so than OBJ’s two finger catch for the Giants.

I don’t think I’ve seen a receiver catch more “impossible” passes than Jarvis Landry.
He’s one of my favorites, too.

Lutcher high school standing proudly,
By the riverside.

We will never cease to love thee,
For you are our pride.

Where the sugarcane is growing,
Such a school we hold.

Dear O Lutcher alma mater,
Hail to purple and Gold!

Hot take Jarvis was a better LSU WR than OBJ
