that was a fluke as well as what happened to JL this year.

Agree that Howard's was one bad day including a couple of unlucky bounces and he did come back to lead a victory over highly ranked Auburn the following year. JL had a couple of unfortunate caroms but his biggest problem is flowing to his 2nd or 3rd option. I'll swap sacks for int's any time.

He will be better for the experience. The game will slow down for him. I hope he doesn't transfer...

This has been discussed to nausea.

You do realize that a pick ACTUALLY HAS TO BE THROWN FIRST before it become a "6", don't you?

There you go again, expecting a RS freshman to have zero picks. Your expections are way too high for the kid.

I notice there was no criticism for the other QB after two fumbles, two dropped picks, and two missed TDs in the GTech game. Most peole understand that freshmen make mistakes. JJ got bailed out for his mistakes, JL did not.

my criticism of lee isn't the fact that he lead the SEC this past season in interceptions (and only playing 9 games i believe) my criticism is his leadership/confidence (no i don't want him to be cocky but have some confidence.. rally the team behind you)... he didn't really ever progress on his decision making..

JJ does have trouble with fumbling.. but the guy actually makes plays.. look at that one play where he willed himself and then threw a favre like left handed pass i believe.. classic will of a competitor.

he never ever ever once showed he had the ability to see the field and make reads and decisions to lead a top level offense of a top 10 team-- end of story
