Lee and Jefferson were both below average. Lee shook in fear every time he stepped on the field against Bama.

So I guess we're to the point where the dumbasses are going to name every below average player the last 10 years and blame it on miles. I saw a Jordan Jefferson appreciation thread for fricks sake.

Get a grip people

Mett came to us game ready. He had just led his team to the JC championship game before he got here

Say what now?
Mett went from like a 6 just junior year to a 9 the next. It was night and day different.

Choc,

After seeing 4 (!!!!) freshman QBs succeed last weekend for different teams after their coaches changed the scheme to build their confidence, how can you NOT say it's on Les that LSU couldn't develop 4 QBs after years in the "system?"

ETA: Les' offense is one-dimensional. That puts tremendous pressure on a QB. And if the QB isn't perfect, he loses confidence and Les loses confidence in him.

So Choctaw, by your definition of JJ and JL, BH must be below average as well. And none of this is the fault of the staff?

Your agenda is showing.

blame it on miles

Miles '08 - 5 losses
Miles '09 - 4 losses
Miles '10 - 2 losses, but JL saved 3 more
Miles '11 - undefeated season
Miles '12 - 3 losses with all NFL skills players
Miles '13 - see '12
Miles '14 - 5 losses
Miles '15 - almost fired
Miles '16 - great start

Yeah, I'm gonna blame Miles, and gives props to the QB that gave us our best season in a decade. Despite the fact that he wasn't gonna see the field if left up to Miles

Agreed. And I'm saying even Drew Brees wouldn't be "the man" in this situation.

That was allegedly the year that Les gave up on passes across the middle

Ummm... You know Lee started even after JJ came back, right?

Only because Miles feared a mutiny. He heard the boos when JL was pulled on the 1st series for JJ

I'm gonna have to disagree and say that he most accurate QB in NFL history would probably be better than Lee, JJ, and Harris. Call me crazy.

Don't give lee credit for the 2011 defense and ST. He played well enough that year. Not great.

He was pulled during the Bama game only after Lee threw 2 interceptions. Do you even watch the games?

No, JJ was sent in after Lee marched the team down to the goal line in the Ky game. Took him 2 tries to score

Lee was looking over his shoulder the rest of the year. He know what was coming

Sorry, but Lee went up against 6 ranked teams. He deserves the credit.

Brees was made into a great QB by coaches. Thie point that you are missing is that Les could have coached up our guys to be great QBs, but did he?

You know what I mean. I'm saying if the college version of Brees was in this system, he wouldn't have developed. Shame.

Les isn't a QB coach. Neither is Saban or most head coaches. That's why we pay people called QB coaches.
