Since the 08 season, I would say JLee is the 2nd best QB LSU has had with Mettenberger being #1

Miles is not a very good offensive minded coach

Very sad when he was brought up as an offensive coach.

And yet Miles had this 3rd string QB throwing the ball around like he was JR or MF? And you think that's on Lee?

And what exactly did you see from Jimbo Monday?

I only say this because he's a popular choice for the next coach.

Seems like a lot if contradicting bull shite if you ask me is all.

Welcome to the whole point of the thread

Despite all evidence that QBs do not improve under Miles, JL still showed marked improvement and jump started LSU to its greatest regular season under Miles. All the while sitting behind JJ for about 3 years

Therefore, he is the man

uh, a coach that made in-game adjustments that ended up winning the game, and not continually throwing the exact same game plan series after series, game after game for an entire year?

Isnt that what you saw from Jimbo?

Lee improved, Mett improved.

Just pointing out you are making shite up. So the evidence is 1 player, Jefferson didn't improve from his first season to his next.

Jennings never got the 2nd season and Harris hasn't finished his.

You see where I'm coming from? You are just wrong.

Because Les didn't let his QBs throw over the middle anymore.

I saw him let his freshman throw the ball like he was Matt Flynn and Jamarcus Russell.

Yet you laugh at the fact Lee had to?

You could come up with better shite man. You've been waiting since 09.

Mett improved.

Mett came to us game ready. He had just led his team to the JC championship game before he got here

He still had some shite games that year.

Aside from 11/5, he had shite games against:

Kentucky
Tennessee
Oregon

This guy is a Lee fanboy, so of course he'd come out with this thread.

This is gonna be a long year. Some people probably have QB controversy thread templates ready already.

A fan because it was easy to see that Miles was clueless back then. It just took a while for the VAST majority of fans and now sports journalists to see the light

Therefore, the purpose of this thread. LSU had an elite 11 QB that Miles completely wasted, yet JL still succeeded despite the system he was forced to play in

What Les did to JL on 01/09 was inexcusable. JJ stunk up the joint and Les never gave JL even a snap to try something different.

As opposed to your annual "Miles is gonna turn this thing around thread"?

JL was demonized, because of a clueless coach

I think history has proven that out at this point
