What is his slot value, and how much above that are they allowed to go?

Probably gone (Poche)

Needs to come back for another year to establish consistency and rectify past mental breakdowns in high pressure games(last years World series' throws to first base)

The stallings pick is interesting. I'm guessing they like the gas he throws, but he could benefit greatly with another year in college.

$100k or less doesn't count against the bonus pool in rounds 11-40, as far as I can tell. He can get a higher bonus but it would count against the bonus pool for the team who selected him.

Ell, that's not how it works. Slot values are only for rounds 1-10. So saving up only works for the first few rounds. That pool money is gone once day 3 starts. 11-40 you can spend up to 100,000 without the team incurring penalties/luxury taxes.

I think that is incorrect. The money over $100k counts against the bonus pool too, but there is no saving anymore. If you've got $500k left in your bonus pool, you can sent it to Poche with no repercussions.

All bonus money directed toward a player selected in the Top 10 rounds of the draft counts against a team’s bonus pool, as does any bonus money that exceeds $100K to players selected in rounds 11 through 40 (for example, a $180K bonus to a team’s 11th-round pick would result in $80K being removed from its draft pool).
