Seriously, I think everyone who follows this team knows this, the stats weren't needed to back it up

And 9 out of 10 coaches admit that losing a series is not a good way to win your league or conference.
And yet last season we got swept by Tennessee and Georgia (two games, third game ended in a tie) and lost two out of three to both Florida and Ole Miss.... As I recall, most people (and coaches) thought we did pretty well last year....

Josh, I guess you qualify as one of those pussies whose panties get tangled when someone says something negative about a Tiger?

True, but believe it or not, most players and coaches think that losses and strikeouts are bad. It's refreshing to see an honest poster on here who tells it like it is, because most fans just don't realize these things.

Now there's a reasonable and legitimate complaint.

I was horrified by the way LSU batted Saturday in the 8th and 9th. Lots of swings for the fences by hitters who weren't even the tying run at the plate, and way too many called third strikes.

I'm not real famililar with the Hitting Coach that left, or the one that took his place this year. SOMETHING is obviousley different.

He struck out a lot last year too.

The strikeouts have really just started the past couple series. Every since the Bama series it seems he strikes out at least 2-3 times a game since then. I think teams figured out he can't hit a curve ball and they are throwing him a steady diet of breaking pitches.

He needs to break his psychological dependence on Jobu, in my opinion.

Maybe time to sit him for a while, can't hurt.

Sit him?? I don't see that happening.
