Shelvin was up to 390 at one point. Hes a 350 now and that's where coach o wanted him. Hes obviously been working his arse off.

It's already started.
.Roman Harper just said if you want to run a fast 40 time just go down to lsu...this was after they were talking about the faster hand times at pro days as opposed to the laser times at combine.
I could tell by the way he said it that he was taking a shot at lsu posting faster times then they actually were.
frick him, lsu isnt doing anything shady. The times are being recorded by guys that arent even affiliated with lsu.
Maybe we just have faster players then florida which is the other pro day they are showing along with ours on sec network

Yeah, and I'm sure the low sea level altitude of Baton Rouge is the only reason we got guys jumping over 40 verts, too. LSU Pro Days are notorious for being faster than many others. Some of that is because we simply have faster athletes, but there is some truth to our "improved" Pro Day times. Many guys have run at the combine, then run at LSU a week or two later, only to see drastically faster times. There are many variables involved in that. I don't think we do anything shady, I think it has more to do with "home field advantage". I know that much of it has to do with conditions/surface. Any track athlete/coach will tell you that matters, as in mattering on the 100th to 1/10th of a second level. Indy (Combine) for sure is a slower turf than LSU indoors. I DO believe that Chase and Marshall both would have run sub 4.5 laser times at Indy had they had the Combine this year.

Jefferson ran a 4.4 last year at the combine and I think most would've assumed Marshall and Chase were faster than him straight line.
