Receivers typically need a year to adjust to the next level, for some reason. Jefferson was an exception to that.

The real issue is that the Bengals jugs machine was broken all off season. They just got a new one in… he’ll be good to go after a few thousand balls.

we all wanna see Burrow and Chase play together but drafting the tackle there was the correct move

i think this is matter of opinion...from what i see the Tackle from oregon is having a tough time as well....and to be honest this wouldnt even be a conversation if Chase isnt dropping passes

Sewell at out last season also just like Chase. Of course the geniuses on the Rant think only LSU players sat out.

Yea he shouldn’t have opted out 2020. He could have put up some numbers even with 3 different QBs throwing it.

It clearly hurt Chase in his preparation.

He's become a meme. Cincinnati fans are not happy.

Why the F are you even on a sports message board? Sadly, many of the athletes have this same mindset. The goal in organized sports is to WIN. The players who are in it to only make money make it hard to watch. And if no one is watching, there is no money to be made.

Get off a sports message board if you think making money is the goal of playing team sports.

Cincy front office is a dumpster fire, organizations with good management do not allow players to influence draft decisions.

Taking a WR over a OT is questionable anyway, but becomes more glaring when that WR isn't immediately producing. That's what Cinci picked up Chase to do.

I think he will be fine, but he's absolutely rusty, and looks like he's backing off contact.

I promise you the powers that be of each sport care way more about the bottom line than they do about winning.

You think Mike Brown gives a frick about winning? No, he cares that he can get an extra 2 percent of profit off of the Cincy chilli at the concession stands this season.

There are owners who care more about winning than others, but they are more the exception than the rule.

Some of you guys really need to let go of the Full Hearts Can’t Lose rah rah shite your high school coach got you to buy into. Your life will be a lot easier when you stop expecting it to be a Disney movie.

Good points. Chase worked the sideline/boundary at LSU and did very well there. The middle of the field is a different animal.
