Many LSU fans shite on him on here because of how his pro career turned out and the Bama necklace.
It's such bullshite because, before Joe Burrow's 2019 happened, that 2006 season was the highwater mark for any LSU quarterback in school history.

There use to be a video vs Ole Miss I think where JR spun back 2 times avoiding a sack to throw it @50yds to Early Doucet.

I wish someone would do an LSU highlight video of his that included stuff from his freshman and sophomore years too. His first game vs Oregon State, the 4th quarter vs Iowa, the OT win at Bama, etc.

That was one of those "this team sucks so we're not trying" games under Miles and JR had to put the team on his back with magic to win it.

I had a theory around that time that we got unfocused that last home game for some reason. It's like the senior day stuff got Les distracted.
That particular Ole Miss game, Justin Vincent got the start (last home game) after Keiland had been doing well since getting more carries. Still not sure why KW didn't play at all.
