Transfer or not, if Giles is the most dynamic athlete on the team, he should wear #7. The #7 thing has never been a leadership thing like wearing #18. Some leaders have wore #7 but that's bc the person was both a leader and the playmaker.

How do you know he hasn’t earned it? He’s practiced with the team for an entire year without playing a game. For that reason alone if the players think he deserves #7 then that speaks volumes. He must be doing everything he’s asked to do for the last year. More power to him. Hope he kills it next year.

I agree but he's definitely earned the right to speak his mind, MAYBE Devin wanted 18 or liked his #, too many variables and things we don't Know to really commit one way or the other about this subject
