Right, just keep telling yourself that.

That is you realizing I didn't say anything racist but not being man enough to admit you were wrong.

Sweet irony. You reacted to my post so fast that your brain wasn't in "read words" mode.

So Mills refused to talk to police too? Yessh. He's in trouble.

Willingly talking to the police does you no good. It isn't going to make the situation better and it can only make it worse.

You gonna respond to any other part of my posts or just the part where I addressed you totally not being racist? Great deflections, though.

My question, and I know nothing legally, is can that made into an obstruction of justice if he refused to answer any of the police's questions about anything.

I mean I understand not having to talk to anyone without a lawyer legally, but in the fricked up world we live in these days, can a judge slap you with something if you refused to work with the police?

No, it wasn't court-ordered and they didn't have a warrant out for him at the time of the scheduled meeting. The meeting would have been voluntary.

What if she got hit in the fight with him breaking it up and fell backwards and hit her head, causing her to lose consciousness? Wouldn't she think the actual hit knocked her out?
I've seen so many guys get knocked out only to come to and ask "who hit me"

There are plenty of facts to be filled in, this isn't that difficult of a case to assemble all the facts. The cops know how to get to the truth by their interview techniques. The truth will surface, but it will take a few days.

Personally, I think he missed the meeting on purpose. I think he got real scared, opened up to Miles or someone he trusts, and they told him not to go anywhere near the cops until he was in a position to have an attorney. Of course, he needs to be arrested for the attorney to represent him....assuming he didn't have $5k or so to hire one before the arrest.

When you are threatened with a felony or arrest, why in the world would you VOLUNTARILY give cops information that they may use against you?

NEVER blow on a DUI stop! All it's doing is giving them more ammunition.

UPDATE (From Sports Today on 104.5): Hanagriff said Mills disputes how the girls lip became busted. He says Mills is claiming the two girls were in an argument, Mills got between the two girls to break it up, and accidentally hit the victim with his elbow while trying to break up the argument.

I spoke to Jae last week and that's exactly what he told me... He was honestly scared to death that this chick was gonna drag him through the mud and blame him for this... He made it clear that he DID NOT punch this girl

Maybe this girl is completely full of shite. But hitting a woman is and should be a sensitive issue. If he did indeed punch her, unless she had a weapon, I think he should be automatically off the team and serve time. If she made the story up, her arse should be in jail for the exact amount of time her lie would have sent him in for. Hopefully the guilty party pays the price.

What if the other girl punched her? Or what if Mills' elbow really did hit her? And the girl comes out and admits that...

The story says a witness corroborated her story. I guess there's a small chance he could be innocent, but overall it's bad.

No I still will be, but I'll be wrong on this one.

Not in that context, no. Since he's implicated in the report, he's got his 5th Amendment rights against self-incrimination until he has his lawyer present.

Why wouldn't he have his lawyer? He knew for weeks that he had a meeting with the cops when he returned to LSU. He had plenty of time to lawyer up and didn't.

Especially in LA. You never talk to police without representation.
