But not the toys from Rudolph?

That’s a great deflection after you actually looked up who is in that league

I have been around since 2006. You could give me any team in the country and I could tell you their conference. You of all people should know I follow college basketball very closely.

I also know that Tulane hasn't been relevant in decades. So I'm not sure why or how that's a deflection.

VanFleet and Baker aren't walking through the door at Wichita. Penny has had talent and laid an egg at Memphis. Cincy was a colossal shitshow.

So we have Houston, 3-4 average teams, then 6 teams that would finish last in the SEC. My point, again, is that it's a significant step down.

I think we’ll wind up missing this kid a lot.

I’ve thought so but your recent shots at mid majors & sub 6ft players have been weird

All he needs is playing time - very good basketball skills.

Here’s how KenPom ranked the conferences this past season.

The American is definitely a step down, but he’ll still get to compete against programs like Houston, Memphis, Wichita State, and Cincinnati.

Think it also shows that he’s thinking about life after basketball. If he graduates, the degree from Tulane will be a big feather in his cap.

This is a good get for Tulane.

My thoughts. I was excited for his future with LSU. He plays defense and is a smart player with some really good skills that just need some polish. I’ll be interested to see how things go with him and the Greenies

What’s the problem? The AAC is definitely one of the best mid majors.

I haven’t seen anyone saying the AAC is bad. What’s weird is y’all trying to say it essentially competes with the SEC. No, it’s a step down in competition, period. And it’s at one of the worst schools (basketball wise) in the league. Perhaps he goes there and Hunter adds more guys and they improve and start to fight and make the NIT.

All I’m saying, and others, is that he’s going to a school with less talent and he should play. I think it’s a good move and the right move for him. I’m not hating on him. He should be one of Tulane’s best players, but he’s facing less competition to play and less competition with opponents. That’s all.
