The kid could be a superstar if he can just get up to average against lefties.

And yet you post no numbers v lefties

He needs to just learn how to switch hit

Or Jay could let him hit against lefties so he could improve.

He’s definitely has learned what his hit zone is & where he can drive the ball

Except that he is factual not. It can't even be disputed.

Not opposed to that. I love the kid and his energy, but he has a long way to go against them. Most players have at least some level of difference vs RH or LH, but Brown looks like two entirely different players. I realize this is anecdotal, but I was at the Sunday TN game and from the on-deck circle thru the at bat, his entire approach and confidence level when they brought in a leftie was striking.

He literally started him last Sunday against a lefty. Pretty sure going into last weekend him and Pearson has almost the exact same number of at bats against lefties in SEC play.

Game on the line I’m taking Brown over Pearson all day long

Because you are a simple minded fool. Pearson hits left handed pitching better than Brown. It's an absolute fact.

If Feb, March and April sure. Whenever you are trying to lock up a double bye in the SEC tourney, and possibly a top 8, this weekend isn't the time to be working through things.

Some Brown stats this year per LSUsports:
Missouri 3/10
Texas 2-9
Mississippi State 3/7
Oklahoma 0/7
Auburn 1/5
Alabama 3/5
Tennessee 1/11
A&M 0/4
Arkansas 5/8
South Carolina 2/3 coming into today
20/69 for .290 SEC average
Kid has a bright future, but the people on the Rant acting like he’s 2000 Bonds right now need to relax.

At this point, just leave him in the lineup and let him figure it out. He's just too good of a hitter to not have him in the line up imo.
