MLK would be so disappointed in today’s African Americans. That’s pretty much all that most of them look at is skin color which is the opposite of what his whole agenda was. I could care less if Jaden is black , white, yellow, or red. And I’m black so don’t hit me with that “he’s a racist garbage”.

Exactly, this is what Astro is trying to point out. People should not focus on the race of the athlete, but rather evaluate them based on their talent and not pigeonhole them into certain positions based on stereotypical perceptions.
But as Project pointed out, baseball has definitely been a sport for years that has done this. Therefore, it is significant (and the point of what was stated originally) that possibly baseball is moving past that point and is now evaluating a player off of their talent and not their race as evidenced

Thank you. I am excited that baseball is changing it's former mindset(actually former isn't that long ago). I am a racist for pointing out this accomplishment though.

BTW I am as conservative as they come. However, I am not so narrow minded as to not see that many athletes had to overcome obstacles that have no place in the game though. Funny you think anyone who can respect the progress made is a racist and liberal. You are what is wrong with our party in 2021.

Project - What affect do you see covid having on the 2021 draft. There were players, like Fontenot, that got pushed into the 2021 draft that will deepen the talent. I am assuming it will be 20 rounds.
Do you think more high school players will be pushed onto campus than normal? Do you think more players drafted between rounds 10 and 20 will sign?
