and Miami's OC is better than Crowton.

I am not ready to agree with that..

People need to go back and look at Crowton's numbers on paper

GT and FSU have two of the worst pass defenses I have seen this year. That may factor into this equation.

I'm very interested to see what he'll do against Va Tech's stingy defense.

Exactly, and lets all remember VT lost to BAMA...so we will get to see how the depth of the ACC after that game

Uhhh, JJ is somehow not developing?

JJ is running for his life now AND NOT throwing int's.

The guy is doing fine.

The OL is not.

spot. on.

Terry the Tiger hit it. The OL was the big difference. Harris dropped back and had ALL night to pass. It's alot easier to find open receivers down the field when this takes place.

JJ drops back and he has pressure in his face almost instantly. Our OL might end up being good, but so far they have been mediocre at best.

Harris is more patient in the pocket, goes to alternate receivers. JJ is still developing in this respect and either takes off running or dumps the ball off too quickly. He has more time than he believes.

This is JJ's biggest limitation, and why the offense is still basic. Some athletes adjust to the game quicker than others, will come with time.

On a side note am I the only one that thinks Nesbit tries way too many QB keepers? That isn't that hard to defend, and Miami looks like the will stick around the Top 25 this year.

if JJ had miami's o-line, or played against georgia tech, he'd look a lot better.

kinda like he did when he put up 38 points against them in the bowl game.

remember that?

Why do you think this is?

Harris is a better qb...he looks to have better mechanics and a better sense of the pocket...(at this point)

I think Harris sees the entire field and Jefferson still has to learn to make all the reads.

JH has hit the open receiver better, he looks very comfortable back there.

LSU has played Washington and Vandy, neither ranked nor did we have to do anything super special to win.

I think we are just getting into the offense slowly where as Miami had to open it up week one. No need to blow your wad against weaker competition.

this

not to mention, Jefferson already blew out ga tech.

eta: that being said, jacory looks really good.

If you know, JJ lead LSU in a blowout vs GT last year

the running game and defense led us to that win

Passing Att-Cmp-Int Yds TD Long Sack
--------------------------------------------
Jo. Jefferson 25-16-0 142 1 25 2

Its not like he went off and threw for 300+ yards and 5 touchdowns against GT
