I love that when they interviewed Urban and asked him about this guy scoring more td's than Timmy, he didn't know what the hell to say. He's not happy about someone outdoing his boy.

thanks

Didn't we get investigated for that back in 2001 or 2002? I think it came up a couple of months after we won the SEC title in 2001. Some tutors with the academic support center were accused of writing papers for players, and I think there was some allegation about tutors actually attending the players' classes and taking notes for them. I think we ended up admitting to some minor violations and maybe forfeited a couple of scholarships for one year's recruiting class. Tennessee also had a similar scandal back in the 1990s, stirred up by a professor at the school who made the allegations. Auburn was in the New York Times a few years ago about similar problems with athletes basically being given grades. I also seem to recall something from the early 2000s about Ohio State and some academic improprieties with football players. It definitely happens in a lot of places.
This is the kinda crazy talk that makes a fellow a jackass.

No, you are the crazy one for saying it does. It doesn't go on everywhere you jackass. You are pissed because once again Les Miles program is free of the kind of scandal that so called "better coaches" like Davis carry around with them like old luggage.
TGFN57, I think you need a hug.

If you think for one second that that stuff doesn't go on here or at Auburn or at Georgia or at Alabama or at Ar-Kansas or anywhere you're crazy.
what's the latest line?

All TV is digital now. Rabbit ears do not work unless they are a new digital set.
Rabbit ears are rabbit ears. They still work just fine. You just have to hook them up to a digital reciever/tuner.
Does the fact that he's a big, lazy dumbass come into this discussion at all?
How much more should we take? Les hasn't utilized his talent, Les hasn't fired Crowton, Les hasn't played RS enough, Les hasn't played enough underclassmen, Les hasn't tucked his kids into bed in 3 nights, Les hasn't taken the trash out at his house this morning, and now Les allows the athletic department to leave the lights on.
Enough is enough dammit.

I hope not, but I think he'll be a late rounder.

I'd love to see him in the pros. But so would this guy:

A true fan that thinks that CS is not a 1st rounder. To repeat, that guy's a dipshit.
I love me some CS but that guy's a dipshit.

I'm gonna have to disagree with ya'll on this one. It's the employer's responsibility to hire the right person. They hire the wrong guy, it falls back on them, and all of the ramifications of his employment as well(his contract.)
Have you ever thought about it like this? Les is doing his best. Every day he sets out thinking that he is doing the right things to better this program. Clearly he's not, but to him he is. So shame on him for working hard and doing what he thinks is best for our program? or shame on LSU for hiring the wrong guy?
It happens every day in every work place. You don't do your homework on the front end and hire the wrong person, you have to take the licks, not the person who is not suited for the job. You shouldn't have hired him to start off with.
Having said all of that, we agree that he needs to go.

Could you maybe have called a time out earlier? or not run 3 pass plays in a row? or hike the ball and try to make a play into the endzone?
30 yards to your right.
