He's a proven winner who is extremely hungry for championships and NOTHING ELSE. No funny business with this guy. I promise you we wouldn't be losing to Thibodaux State with him in the dugout.

You are suggesting that we replace Mainieri with a high school coach?

And you're serious with this suggestion?

In state games especially early in state games are supposed to be used to develop talent and gain experience... find out who else can play.. build depth.

In a year with many many new position players this is going to happen.

So we throw out #5 starter against their number 1. Use our 6 through ten bullpen options vs their 1 through three.. what do you think is going to happen

I have no understanding for someone jumping on PM for this nonsense

Btw I do not care one way or the other about PM. Whatever.

love Coach Bass, but c'mon.

I actually think Coach Bass would be a good college coach if he wanted to do that.

You people are fricking embarrassing talking about firing someone 5 games into the season. Yes we lost but we had some hard hit balls that were right at people. A few bounces here and there and we win. I’m not near as worried about constantly losing some midweek games as i am if we constantly lost to top sec schools. Playing top sec schools and losing shows how low our ceiling is. Losing to Nichols really proves nothing. All top schools lose midweek games. We’re not alone

Let’s just give Coach O dual coaching responsibilities.

I mean how much “coaching” do these guys need to play baseball. Most have been playing organized baseball since they could walk.

If they don’t get it by now, they never will.

Majority of his losses are to in state schools and that is unacceptable at LSU.

No in-state teams are throwing their number 1 guy against us in the midweek games. That hasn't happened since probably the late 90s.

Can you provide the numbers that back up this claim?
