Tell him he was Chris Jackson here. We will retire the number with that name at LSU.

Yes but it’ll be his chosen name or it won’t be anything at all. LSU wouldn’t do it without his permission and he wouldn’t give permission for CJ

I don’t mind him changing his name to whatever he wants but Rauf didn’t score any points at LSU.

Did he graduate? That’s the criteria.

This is so stupid. If a non athlete completes six semesters, leaves, and creates some multi million dollar technology, you think the university wouldn't recognize it? Please.

Not a huge fan of retiring numbers.

But that's just my own personal opinion.

I think there was a protest about the national anthem at one point.

Best shooting guard LSU ever had, outside of Pistol Pete.

I attended the Florida game when he scored 53 against the gators in the 5th game of his freshman year. Probably still a O'Connell center record.

Yea, he turned muslim and all, but I think the tourett's got the best of him eventually moreso than his new religion.

I will get attacked for it but I am against it because of his attacks on the United States after 9/11, just my opinion.

Yea, after his LSU days, those muslim idiots got into his head.

He did indeed refuse to stand for the national anthem while playing in the NBA.

I say HELL YES mainly so LSU doesn't get involved in idiotic PC arguments.

As a LSU player, he would easily make an all-time team.

So we are fine with forgiving Cannon for his crimes but not Rauf for this?

Absolutely not. He should not be honored by LSU.
