Tiger Stadium was getting crowds in the 50,000 range in the Hallman days. Baseball had a major dip under Smoke.

Of course I'm talking actual attendance, not paid.

it was! losing 7-1 going into the eighth...have a seven run inning to tie it up at 8-8.....to lose in the ninth, 9-8

I agree, but I don't know if I'd call them 'bandwagon' as much as they are just simply extremely fickle and quite frankly a very odd group. How else can you explain Bama nearly outnumbering our fans in the Superdome? Were LSU fans just bored with our success or what? I simply don't understand. I think that's it, they just get bored easily.
