I watched the entire game, minus the few minutes when Cox went full on retarded. Yeah they gave us the win, but we still had to get hits. LSU has had terrible luck(ie: Ross's throw) and it was about time some things feel our way.

Also, Dozar failed to get a glove on a squibber that he at least should have knocked down

That was a terrible hop. Dozar had no chance to make that play.

The defense is playing much better with only 1 error in the last 37 innings.

they had 2 errors last night, one of which in the top of the 8th inning which allowed USM to hang around, cant make mistakes like that against Vandy this weekend, yes I really feel confident right now, you know considering we only need to win 11 of the remaining 15 sec games to make the SEC tournament

Strangely enough, I agree. But the proof in the pudding should become apparent in Nashville this weekend.

So, what's funny about the team doing poorly?

Also what's funny about McCune's first bad performance. Not bad for a freshman.

Some people enjoy watching teams do poorly just so they can come back later and tell you they told you so. Simple minded folk they are.

And there is nothing wrong with fans being optimistic.

Oh, well. 6 national championships in 19 years will just have to suffice. I can barely control my rage.

Has the team shown any reason for you to believe they win another SEC series the rest of the year? Because I know this is one of the worst LSU teams I can remember. I think they're worse than most of Smoke's teams.

EASILY the worst hitting team I can remember.

its pretty pathetic that yall come here to gloat about how bad LSU's season is going and asking if there is anything to remain optimistic about

I think we are "working" the corner.

Considering how bad LSU was against Georgia and Arkansas, it still wouldn't take much for this to be LSU's best performance of the season for a road series. There are a few good signs that both pitchers and hitters are becoming more disciplined about how they approach every pitch.

All the other stuff, which people call a lack of fundamentals, is really just bad stuff that tends to happen to young teams when nothing else is going right either.

I'm pretty sure LSU is going to have a winning record for its last 13 conference games after today, which is not saying much, I know--but it would constitute "turning the corner" in some sense.

I was laughing at the OP, not the situation.

I don't follow baseball very closely but I the first thing I thought about when I saw LSU got blown out in that game was this thread. So I bumped it up for a laugh.

Some of you are so sensitive.
