Gameday – Had season tix for 20 something years. Since I lost my son (who was an LSU alum and fanatic) have not returned to a single event. Can't go back to the campus. Watch games on television.
Alum - Y
Your Closet – A couple of nice shirts.
Your House – A couple of signed helmets my son gave me.
Your Vehicle – Nothing.
Other: Nothing.
Life has changed me, and I do not get excited about games being played by young men. Last game my son and I attended was Nat'l Championship game vs Ohio State.

Man, I really hate anytime I hear these stories. I feel for you, but know that I can't really imagine the loss that you feel.
Hopefully, some day, you can return in his honor and rediscover the joys that you experienced together. I'm sure he would want that for you.

Born and raised in New Orleans as an LSU fan. Attended law school at LSU. I try to attend one football game every year. Numerous LSU polos, t-shirts, jackets, caps, etc. LSU emblem on car. On game day I go about my normal routine until game time. Then I'm glued to the television. I sometimes yell at the TV. I've gotten better about that in recent years. Lots of that due to 1/9/12 as it was such an emotional letdown. I try not to get so invested anymore.

Gameday: Ping purple and white striped polo that the back is so faded it's almost colorless. lots and lots of stress and alcohol

Closet: 5 or 6 polos. multiple free t shirts, one hat that is rarely worn

Vehicle: LSU white letters in the middle, TAF sticker, LSU AG sticker

Season tix: check, north end zone; make most home games, 1 road per year. One and only natty was the debacle 1/9/12

House: About 5 pics, a lamp, first 3 baseball natty posters, wife lets me put up little
Truck: Alum license plate on front, 2 stickers on back
Other: I am wholeheartedly brainwashing and raising 3 crazy future Tiger boys; have had the kid with the helmet and diaper with the words In Training.... in my twin boys room since birth

OK I'll answer. I rate myself as a 9 1/2 when it comes to being an LSU fan. 2016 will mark my 50th anniversary as an LSU season ticket holder. I was 8 years old. When I walk into my closet I see purple and gold. I have an LSU plate with a number in the 2400's. I live and die with the team.

Have a vintage purple LSU sports coat from when my grandfather went to LSU.
Your House – Win Bar Framed Newspapers/Championship tickets
Your Vehicle – Used to have the Helmet logo license which is now on my tricycle. Just have the license plate frame on my truck now.
Other: Went to all three recent NC appearances. Have seen LSU play in every SEC away stadium except Missouri.
Both parents are alums. Grandfather was an Alum too.
