As fans we hope Jones is a great coach!
One does wonder however, was he the best available or just available?
The jury will be out until September.

Minnesota's defense was straight GARBAGE last year. Good luck buddy. Might want to rent and not own.

I looked up Minnesota vikings defense this season. The head coach this was the worst defense he has ever had . That says a lot . I think the saints only scored 50 + points on them . Sounds like a coaching was about to happen . Right ?

Love that movie.

The program was such a good movie growing up.

His last four seasons have been spent coaching bottom 10 nfl passing defenses. All of whom were significantly better before he was hired.

So there’s that

So we went from one of the top names in college (Freeman) to one of the hot names and successful position coaches (Nielson) to this guy....?

Kind of like 2017 when we went from one of the top names in college (Jimbo) to one of the hot names (Herman) to this guy (Orgeron). Three years later one of them won a national championship.

Yea I know Coach O is but if he’s a student of Aranda, that’s 3/4 seems to me , maybe I’m mistaken
