They are obviously waiting for it to rain as the forecast is clear up until noon.

It boggles the mind that they would start today's games even later than yesterday's.

I agree it's dumb, but they'd get criticized either way. If they started at 9 today people would whine that they couldn't go to church.

Who the frick would be whining about not going to church? No one here has complained about that. Especially since LSU wouldn't be playing in that game anyway.

If only peoples priorities for their faith didn't revolve around a bricked building that they consider church, even though the actual fellowship of the church isn't the building itself, but by the practicing of their faith.

All in all, I want to watch baseball.

Maybe letting the field try and dry a little bit instead of destroying it...

The field dried overnight. They should be playing at 9 again.

Are you trying to tell me that Jesus Christ can't hit a curveball?

considering the weather forecast for today, not starting this game early was idiotic.

The field didn't dry overnight. It's humid as hell outside and nothing dried up in the night. Either way, they should have started at 9 or 10. Only reason why they couldn't start that early is for logistics reason only I would imagine.

The drainage system at the box is very good. The field is dry now.

I think we're going to need some grass and dirt samples to prove this true.
