How can Aggie be below is? They beat us, are better coached, are outrecruiting us and have all but closed off our pipeline into Texas that we had built.

Hate to break it to you but three of your wannabees beat us the last time we played them.

Maybe because they finished 10 spots below us?

AP thinks LSU is the #6 program at the end of the 2018 season. Right?

[And, I wasn't trying to rank them - more like "group" them.]

AP means dick in regards to the playoffs. If you're going to do this at least use the correct poll.

Serious question. Is having the 6th best season last year the same as being the 6th best program?

In that case why not just list the rankings of last year. I thought this was a discussion about the status of the programs at this time.

I will wait on bumping Notre Dame up above us then.

Very similar. It's an indicator. But, again, I wasn't trying to rank them. More of a grouping than a ranking.

But the main point is a "super conference" has emerged that is changing the game somewhat. For instance, five years ago, who would have thought Alabama, Ohio State, LSU and others would be putting so much emphasis on the passing game? Can't be a contender without it these days.
