It's Inaccurate and Inconsistent to claim JD is a top-notched QB.

Because you can evaluate talent better than a million dollar coaching staff. Whoops. I forgot.

So you are going to hold his 1st quarter against him? Newsflash, every top qb has a period that he struggles. How about look at his final numbers from the game.

20-28 320 yds 4tds 1 INT. Looks pretty elite to me.

Some of y’all will always find something to cry about.

He is one of the top QBs in college football. It’s not even arguable at this point.

Is he on the level of Caleb Williams or Penix Jr? No.

Does he go through slumps and indecisiveness? Yes. But so do most college QBs, even the good ones.

It’s super weird how some can’t even acknowledge all the good JD does, and only focuses on the negative.

This cat obviously didn’t watch the Jordan Jefferson, Brandon Harris, and Anthony Jennings era.

I'm not necessarily agreeing with OP but stats never tell the full story.

Yes, JD put up big numbers and stepped up when we needed him to. Doesn't mean you can't breakdown the areas where he wasn't great and fix them going forward.

He was just off that first quarter and a half. Missed a lot of throws he usually makes. Strange, but he got it together.

He missed 2 wide open TDs early on with his hesitancy. A continuous problem with him.

Another TD to BTJ is 100% on BTJ making a play and the DB not looking back. You can't argue it was a horrible pass and way, way under thrown.

He's getting better about letting it go but that split second of hesitation is going to burn him once we get into better competition.

JD is neither an elite quarterback, nor a bad one. Following him is like being on a roller coaster. Great one week, average or worse the next. Last night, he was off on his throws from the get-go: under-throwing open wide receivers streaking down the field, etc. He is fast, but not quick, if that makes sense. Adn what's with the weird way he finishes runs? Doesn't know how to slide our put his head down and dive. He runs like a basketball player who is in his first week of playing organized football. That being said, he is our second best quarterback of the last 10 yrs.

With that logic Burrow should be benched for the year after a poor showing in first two NFL games this year. Daniels is one of the best in the country according to pretty much everyone except those in our fanbase. You are an idiot.

Some of y’all are just ingrates. JD throws for over 300 with 4 TDs and got an SEC win.

Y’all need to think back on the 2008-2017 years.

JD is a stone cold killer and a winner. Is he the greatest? Nope. Is he a top 10 QB in the country? Absolutely.

There is a noticable difference in Daniels play and composure when Denbrock forgets about the RBs (1st Quarter) and when the RBs can take some of the load (rest of game.)

We can all see it. Don't know why the coaches don't see it.

Diggs only had 2 carries in the entire 1st half and that was on the drive where LSU drove to the Ark 36 and threw a pick.

1st Half carries - 10 points
Daniels: 5 (7 w/ sacks)
Diggs: 2
Emery: 2
Williams: 1
Jackson: 0

2nd Half Carries: 24 points
Daniels: 3
Diggs: 12
Jackson: 2
Williams: 0
Emery: 0
