We have the fifth highest runs per game in the whole damn country.

I think it’s higher than that.

The completely nonexistent clutch hitting is new and needs to get corrected toot fricking sweet.
3-20 with RISP is insane
That is not “clutch hitting.” That is just poor hitting in general.

Have you actually watched any of our games recently? If you have, and concluded our offense is the issue, or even really an issue at all, I’m not sure what to tell you.
I have, actually, almost every conference game this season. It’s pretty obvious to anyone paying attention that we’re not moving runners around nearly as effectively as we did earlier in conference play. In the last 12 games, against conference teams, we’ve left 126 runners on base. The pitching has improved over the last couple of weeks, but this team is only going to go as far as their offense can carry them.

That’s new? Hmm
Yes, it’s not been the story all year. They were better than average at scoring baserunners in the first 7 SEC series. They have struggled in the 12 SEC games since. Overall, they drove in runners at the same pace as the other top offenses in the league. It’s not an inherent weakness of this team.

We lead the SEC in batting avg, and runs scored. So there's that.
