Dude, all his quotes will be about “looking for better opportunities”

Read the tea leaves. Arizona State is a disaster. They lost almost a whole starting lineup. Their assistant coaches were giving away gameplans.

It’s a very, VERY safe assumption that Daniels was leaving Arizona State no matter what.

JD has many, many flaws. The coaching staff thought he was the best QB and put the offense in his hands.

We lost to Florida ST. out the gate with horrible special teams play, some blown defensive assignments, and a sputtering offense.

We ho-hummed through the next few games and the offense was average at best. We got embarrassed by Tennessee and many thought we'd be lucky to win 6 games.

We played two very bad defenses in Florida and Ole Miss and the offense looked finally looked competent. Once we beat Bama, this team came down to reality. It's very evident that the Bama game was the ONLY game BK and this team felt they wanted more than anything.

This team has played poorly since Bama and was hanging on by a thread. TAMU completely destroyed this team with a bunch of young players.

JD has had a few great games, yet he is still the guy that's also had 2 games where he passed for less than 90 yards. That's acceptable from a player such as Ashford or Weigman for instance. They both made their 1st ever starts this year. That isn't acceptable for JD whom is in his 4th season as a starter.

We'll never know what MB could've done this season. We do know JD has been above average and has won the SECW. Thank God for a down year in the SEC. The only good team we beat this year was Bama. It took OT and us going for 2 instead of kicking the extra point. Outside of Bama, we struggled with bad teams and got embarrassed by Tennessee and TAMU.

Celebrate being the SECW champs but after losing to TAMU, this season doesn't feel like much of a success.

I do not thinks Myles would have had the second best throwing season in LSU history.

Myles had almost the same numbers that Burrow did in 2019, until his injury. And that was against an all SEC schedule

There is no way Myles would have been beaten out in a true QB competition. JD is a typical BK QB but faster.

You do realize that if a coach values mobility then he is going to use that when comparing two QB’s in a competition right?

I don’t see how it’s so hard to believe that a QB that has extreme mobility beat out a QB that is immobile in a competition where the coaches value mobility in a QB.

You just don’t agree with the criteria used in the competition. That’s fine and when you become head football coach of a team one day you can use your criteria to decide who starts on your football team.

Jesus I’d rather people keep bitching about Nuss than bringing up Myles.

He did have great number in those games but they were against Mississippi State, Vandy, and Missouri. Let’s not act like he was playing the top half of the SEC.

I agree with this completely. So many losers (women?) on this site being grateful for a QB like JD5 blows my mind. Expectations changed and rightfully so after the gump win. No excuse for the absolute crap the last game. Being objective about Daniels is impossible for some, but I have watched that man bounce around in the pocket for many seconds unable to throw to anyone. News flash to the women on the board: This will not change. Get ready for a beat down in Hotlanta cuz it's coming. Hopefully the team will have much better QB play next year.

uh, did you watch the FSU game? The OL played like shite and the only reason we were close was Daniels' scrambling ability.

So it would have been worse than a loss with MB as QB?

OK.

Jayden played a pretty big role in those expectations changing.

Saturday was terrible and the entire team rightfully deserves criticism but let’s not forget the good things that the entire team has done to exceed preseason expectations enough to where we are mad about being SEC west champions.

I am not angry. I am stunned that that man has gotten no better playing QB than he has after four years of being a starter.

the weird thing is daniels DID get better. he progressed as a passer pushing the ball downfield and trusting his receivers for 3 games.

then arkansas happened and a&m. he tried to run his way to a win. it barely worked against arkansas and backfired huge against a&m.
