Seeing you have Doucet in your 3 reminded me of the trio that Jamarcus Russell was throwing to when he was at LSU. They were a good trio in Dwayne Bowe, Early Doucet, and Craig "Buster" Davis I think was the last one. They weren't Jamar Chase, Justin J, and Terrace Marshall, but they were still a real good trio that you could have won a national championship with. But a trio of Wendell Davis, Josh Reed, and Carlos Carson is as good as Jamar Chase, Justin J, and Terrace Marshall if not better. Smh

Jarvis Landry, and OBJ

OBJ was great, but Jarvis was Mr. Reliable. If had to choose one, it woyld him.

D.Bowe
J.Landry
Josh Reed
Obj

You could put any two in place for Chase and Jefferson and we win the natty easily same as 2019. Josh Reed in that Joe Brady/Slinger offense would have destroyed teams in the slot. Caught everything and was always open.

People forget we had Buster Davis, Early and Bowe on the field at the same time...

Burrow had 4366 yds passing thru the regular season in 2019. You projected 2400-2500 for the 3 second team WRs, lets add another 500 - 600 yards for TEs+RBs = 3000 for the regular season. So 65-70% of the actual results and only slightly better (less than 1%) than the 2018 passing offense. Do you think the scheme change would have that little effect?
for one thing they aren't as talented. They did a summer of 10000 catches. The cream rose to the top. All of those guys were there prior to the actual 2019 trio. Explain to me with the same regiment, more experience, actually being in the top 5 of receivers with Burrow's first year, why were they behind the newbies? Why did Sullivan have to switch to TE?

The numbers will be lower because you don't have the same elite pass catchers out there. You think Cam Sims would have the same output as Devonta Smith or Jaylen Waddle at Bama? You common sense is lacking.

Also your number play is vastly off for the rest of the team. I will literally add no more WRs and just TEs and RBs from that season. Moss himself had 570 yards. CEH himself had 450 yards. The other TEs and RBs combined for 321 yards. So if you add the 2400-2500 yards of the 3 WRs to just the RBs and TEs of that year, you get, 3743-3843 yards in 15 games. If I add the 4th, 5th, and 6th string WR numbers you get 4305-4405 yards. 293 pass yards per game would have dropped us from #2 in the country, to #19. Still elite, but not the golden standard trio great.

Also, you added in Burrow's bowl game to your calculations of REGULAR SEASONS.
