I would love to see Orgeron prove me wrong, I’ll be happy to eat crow if he brings a title to BR as LSUs head coach, but the “search” for Les Miles’ replacement was a fricking embarrassment and there’s no way you can convince me that he was the most qualified guy for the job.

Fair enough. I'm simply saying that you seen to be very upset about people attacking posters when they say something positive about O. But, at the same time you are attacking posters for asking questions and bringing up actual facts. I'm just confused as to how those two are different.

Who was out there at the time and who should we have gotten?
As interim O did a pretty remarkable job so he did have some momentum going in. Again, Jimbo (nor anyone out there) deserves a 10 year guaranteed job. A&M looks like their pants are down.

He most definitely wasn't the most qualified candidate for the job. Alleva's clumsy handling of the Miles dismissal after that horrendous losing streak in 2015 set the program back at least 5 years, IMHO.
