It was really smart of this team to save some runs for the postseason run to Omaha

The last month and a half or 2 months, we've watched this team's offense seemingly struggle at times. However, as many of us know, each season you only get a certain amount of runs that are predetermined by the beisbol Gods. No one ever knows what that number will be until your season is over. Thus, sometimes it's better to save some of those runs for the postseason, just in case.

After having to use more runs at times throughout the season than we previously imagined, it was really smart of this team to take their foot off the gas for a bit to try and preserve some of those runs. No one wants to have to go back to the beisbol Gods and ask for more because they generally look down on that.

From here on out, this offense will look more like it did at the beginning of the season, as there's no reason to hold back now. I think we'll end up looking back and seeing how blessed we were to save some of those runs for this final leg on our run to number 8. See you baws and bawettes in Omaha in a few weeks!
