Some ppl just take it too seriously. This team will be very very good, but they are young and must learn to win when the heat is on. The bad thing is starting 1-5 in the conference puts them behind the 8 ball and very little room for error.

Really pathetic.
The team could use support even when they are losing, especially when they are losing.
This is after all teenagers basically.
Most of the crybabies are middle aged losers trying to feel like a winning team somehow boosts their worth. It doesnt.
Theres no reason to call these guys names, or berate them in any way.
I'm sure they are doing their best.

There was a thread last week about how the W/L record was not that important at that time. It was more important for the team to focus on improving as individuals and as a team.
Well, most of the responses were very hostile and the poster was called a host of uncomplimentary names.
Now that LSU has a grand total of one SEC win in baseball, I hope that the bandwagoners will GTFO and let the real fans cheer for the team.
I hope that the team continues to improve as players and as a team, regardless of the W/L record, which, right now, is not a good SEC record, in fact, we are fighting for last place.
But, I want LSU to win !

If by shite gotten worse you mean that this site is getting to be more and more like some rival SEC sites where the only thing you can type is a huge circle jerk, then yes.
Used to be a time where Tiger Rant was just that, where you could rant about something. Some of you are so damn overly sensitive about anything critical being discussed.

...but bitching about LSU fans does qualify as "legitimate discussion"?
So let me get this straight, fans can't bitch or voice their displeasure unless it's directed at other fans, but not the baseball team or Paul Manieri. Also, fans aren't "knowledgeable" about baseball unless they share the same stoic viewpoint (that you have, of course) of the season thus far. And finally, don't dare come to the board called the Tiger Rant to actually rant. All we do here is particpate in group hugs and circle jerks over LSU. Does all of that sound right to you, or did I miss something?

This is not much of a rant any more because if u say something about any team not playing well, some on here get their panties in a wad! I think most of them are about 12! Look up the word RANT & learn what it means.
