and time is kept on the field. It seems like it happens more at LSU than anywhere else. Why doesn't administration create a backup clock?

Random observation for the afternoon...and get off my lawn!

Are you certain it does...or, does it only SEEM that way because it is the one you watch more often?

I could say " It seems that coffee is spilled on my counter more than other houses" But, really, MY counter is the only one I clean. So, it may be happening in houses everywhere.

I suspect it would take as much time (or longer) to deploy the backup clock than it would take to get the original problem resolved. It "seems" to me that the time is kept on the field only until the clock is reset / "fixed". I've never seen it last more than a few series.

I remember this happening once or twice in the last 4 years. Pretty good track record.

We've had the same problem at Kyle Field, which is all new equipment. As I understand it, the refs on the field actually have a button to stop and start the clock, and I think that, more often than not, that is what malfunctions.

Has this happened at all this year? Maybe the Syracuse game? Otherwise, I don't recall it being an issue.

Now I'm concerned about the coffee spilled on your countertop.

I've officiated over 90 high school games and this has never happened. None of the Saints games I've been to had this happen...

Couple years ago, my deck light where I sit to read went out right in the middle of titillating paragraph.

You'd think with the cost of LED's today, that light would last longer. Do other decks have this problem. Maybe, I could get my electric man to install a back-up...whacha think?
