I snicker when I think about the fact that Kirby-Smith was considered the best dorm in the 80's and it was a shithole compared to what they hsve now. It was a shithole then compared to anything else, actually

Thanks. I'll be 72 in a few months. Still work full-time and hope to do so another 7-8 years. I'm blessed with good health and good friends. I miss Louisiana, but live on five acres surrounded by water on 3.5 sides, filled with cypress trees and knees. Geaux Tigers!

I did just that only I was pulling my boot on and coughed. Spent the next week smelling like Icy Hot rub and walking VERY slowly.

I’m 58. I remember turning 50 and thinking it was no big deal, that I was still pretty young and had miles and miles to go. The last 8 years might as well be dog years. Suddenly I am old. I look at the people I work with (mostly 40’s and younger) and realize they view me as old. I really have no choice but to embrace it, or I’ll be terminally depressed.

Too late! I kept him at bay for about 75 years. but then he kept creeping in. I can still work,(split wood) for an hour or two, but then I have to rest/nap for an hour.
Life is still good.

Its crazy how one minute your at springbreak or watching Lsu beat Ga. In 2003 and you blink and your 50!
I always tell people money and riches arent the most valuable things on earth, you can always make more money! Time is the most valuable/precious thing and its not even close, live life line there is no tomorrow.
People say i will buy that property or take that risk later, BS there is no tomorrow, theres only right now, today!! Thank god everyday you wake up and take a breath.
