By the metric that I propose, this question is important two or three seasons from 2009.

Right now, the w/l record v. FL and Bammer from 2005 to now is not too good, but, by my own metric, it is too early to judge. By my metric, we should look at the record after the 2011 and/or 2012 season and use this as a factor to judge Coach Miles at that time.

I just realized what a cop-out it is to say, "Too early to definitively judge". I don't expect to win any awards with my opinion.

Just like we couldn't get into the title game in 2006. No question we were the hottest team in the country at the end of the year in 2006, we just lost to the wrong two teams. LSU and UGA were both two-loss SEC teams, it's just that Tennessee held the tiebreaker over UGA when they beat them earlier in the season before UGA had found its groove. I wouldn't have felt very confident about LSU walking into that game against UGA instead of Tennessee. Our team was shot at that point.

It's just that UGA had the 3rd best record in the SEC after a full SEC regular season schedule.

If they had a beef, it was with their coach and team and not LSU who won the SEC.
