The Florida defense is more of a reason why they are number one and why the even won the National Championship last year. This game will come do to that...plain and simple.

that Florida D is still the best in the country whether Catholic High or the Saints were on their schedule....their talent didn't go away because they haven't been challenged

Sure it matters. Tebow has been a thorn in LSU's side for the last 12 years. I hope that cocksucker is on the sidelines.

Yeah, one of the greatest CFB players of all time might not play this weekend and it doesn't matter.

if you can assume their special teams and running game can get 10 points, that may be enough

I think it's silly to say it doesn't matter if Tebow plays. Him not playing dramatically improves our chance of winning.

I know Miles knows how to play this angle...Anyone with a sense of football knows how skillful that D is. I think it best to even do the two QB approach like Chris Leak's last year from Florida's perspective (that is if Tebow is healthy). BUt that said...The Florida defense will be the factor that this game comes down to. Can out Oline finally establish push so our Bruisers can succeed on early downs? That way JJ does not have to force 3rd on long throws.

don't forget we scored 21 on that awesome defense last year. I know we still lost by 30.

no, you are right, cause playing nobody makes your defense look great. until you are challenged by someone better than KY or Charleston Southern, you haven't proven squat.

they returned every player off of last year's team that proved enough IMO

eta: maybe to you holding OU to 14 last year wasn't impressive

Les is no Nutt, but Ole Miss was able to take that team in the Swamp. If LSU can play for four good quarters (a first for the season) they have a chance to win.

Im not saying they aren't beatable, but to downplay their D that was the best in the country last year and returned everyone just because they didn't play a tough schedule so far this year is ridiculous

right, cause no team changes from year to year unless they have been proven..

And my main point was to establish that the FLorida Defense gives them top billing more than the Florida Offense...so many times this year the Offense has been given many many short fields due to turnovers and mid field punt recoveries. I think you can even make a case that is why Tebow has so many TD stats...the D has often handed him great situations to succeed. HE WOULD even say that himself.

I'm sure they were up for Ole Miss last year.
