ESPN New Projections
They have the Cajuns hosting as a 6 seed with the Tigers coming to town.

They referred to ULL as "Louisiana". Here comes the meltdown.

So they're going to send teams from Buffalo, NY and North Carolina to Louisiana when there's sites in Charlottesville, Louisville, Bloomington, Columbia and Oxford?

Only 3 SEC hosts? I don't see that.

Also regarding attendance at the Tigue, it can very easily fit over 4k as we had one game over 4,400 this season. But official "capacity" is like 3,800.

I'm sure we could fit closer to 5,500 with standing room only down the lines in the boxes. I just don't see where we would have room to add extra seating though. Down the first base line is the bullpen and batting cages along with the Cajun Cooking Club. 3rd base line is our bullpen with another cooking pavillion. There would be no way to add bleachers behind the outfield wall with all of the pine trees.

Carolina hosts, but not State or LSU?
Tennessee and Kentucky get in, but Arky left out?

The boxes down the lines can fit many more than the seats that contribute to "capacity". Standing room tickets are sold and you can have 20 people in a box that has 10 "seats"

The whole point of expanding to 16 sites was so that teams don't travel as far.

At this point Vandy should host before South Carolina. And I don't buy his reasoning that they won't put too many regionals in the same area. They've put 4 regionals in the state of Texas before.

ESPN always has horrible projections.

Did we ever figure out which coach kept giving Houston a #1 vote when they were ranked like 17th.

Heres CBD's projections(they love them some LSU usually):

Had us as a national seed 2 weeks ago

LINK

1. LSU
2. UC Irvine *
3. Kansas
4. Stony Brook *

1 ULL
2 Alabama
3 Sam Houston St
4 Alabama St
Paired with ULL (6)

This guys has always been bad too..this is the first week he has had Florida as a national seed.

LINK

1 LSU
2 Liberty
3 UNC
4 Creighton

1 Florida State
2 Mercer
3 Tennessee
4 Deleware State

Has us as a 1 paired with FSU (4)

KR's are usually pretty good(other than having Texas as overall #1 a few weeks ago)..his are coming out tonight

i think its something like a a 400 mile radius. If you are inside that radius the NCAA can bus you to the regional site. if you are outside of 400 all bets are off because you will have to get on a plane. So once the decision is made that you will be flying(traveling over 400 miles) they dont really care where they send you at that point.

And laughing at the guy who said UL wouldnt have a home field advantage if they played LSU at the tigue. that guy is not intelligent

You are a fan of ULL and you're challenging someone else's intelligence?

when they post an idea that states UL wouldnt have a home field advantage playing at their own ball park.

Yes, yes I am.

I went to the game last year at the Tigue and I was actually surprised by the number of our fans that made it into the game.

UL would of course have an overwhelming advantage, but it wouldn't be as crazy as you might think. Especially with the NCAA mandated 500-600 ticket alottment.

First off ESPN always shows up late to the party and acts like they've even here the whole time. frick them guys. They are the douchers of college baseball.

"Sorry guys, we are just waiting until every other sport is done before we air more college baseball and add opinions about national seedlings that will make no sense."

Seriously, LSU will host unless they lose out, if they sweep Alabama and Auburn, shite could end up really crazy.

Thank for nothin espn but we got this.

If we don't get to host a Super, ULL hosting is actually great for us.

The team would get to stay in-state and travel would not be an issue. Need anyone be reminded of the Regional of Death in 2011?
