Why not strive for an 'A?' Aren't the real fans the ones who aspire for more, and not settle for Les?

You've got the wrong idea. They secretly love the losses more than the wins.
It's a straw man argument to think the ones voicing their dissatisfaction are some 1-2% that would love LSU to lose. You've lumped your whole base of logic to refute 1-2% of people that YOU ARE NOT communicating with.

The people who think "real fans" shouldn't question Miles or the coaches or the program are the biggest choch bags on this site.

just ignore him. It is like talking to a damn brick wall. some young and dumb punk kid.
The fact he probably does not have jack, definitely has proved he does not know jack, does not put a dime into this program yet criticized those who do have jack and know jack and put a ton into this program who did not necessarily go to LSU, shows his stupidity.

Just a thought on the 80% bs. CLM is actually at 76% since the 2007 bcs championship, and that's with possibly the 2 toughest games on the schedule yet to be played.
The fact is that Miles has had 1 great season, which ended in embarrassment in the NCG. He's had 2 solid 10 win seasons, and is on the verge of a 3rd mediocre to subpar season since '07
Next year will be a rebuilding year, so a 7-8 win season is a definite possibility. This will drop that % even lower and closer to 70% since '07.
I'm just curious as to how low it has to drop before Miles is considered a liability rather than an asset.

Some of you underestimate how likely it is that LSU will never again have a coach who wins as frequently as Les Miles does. I say to you people, therefore, that if you cannot be happy with LSU under Les Miles, you will never ever ever be happy with LSU football.

My favorite part of this thread is people who thought 80% is a C.
You can tell who never made it past grade school.

I think things may have changed since I went to school. But back in my day, and I am 37, 80% was a C?

it is on a stricter scale. scroll back and read. not just colleges but some high schools still use that 10 points system between grades as well that you are wanting miles to be graded on. use both, cumulatively it comes out to a C+. C- on strict grade, B- on lenient grade.
