Is Travinski gone after this year? I understand the age leverage, but he also hasn’t played a full season. Just curious on thoughts.

His best chance in mlb is probably first base

I think Johnson needs to tell him he can come back next year and be the first baseman hit 20 home runs and be a higher pick that he will be this year.

He isn’t guaranteed to be the starting catcher next year and If he wants to be a catcher he may just decide to go pro. A lot like when Ochinko decided to leave after 2009. He wanted to be a catcher and wasn’t going to be at LSU over Gibbs.

Good call. I love Travinski, but I don't believe he can improve his defense enough to be a viable MLB catcher. He is obviously a good enough hitter to be drafted and if he makes it up to the majors, it will likely be as a DH. He just needs the reps at 1B to be serviceable. It is going to be tough on the fanbase no matter who plays there as Tre Morgan has spoiled us all.

My 55 year old arse needs to drive over there and knock some sense into him. After he whips my arse into a coma maybe he will understand he should stay in school and milk every ounce out of that life. He has one more year to be a student. He is (hopefully) gonna be an adult a LONG time.

Needs to embrace his college experience to the fullest . Like many much better tigers before him he’ll never sniff the show.

Yes unless he wants to possibly DH next year.

Neal will be your catcher.

Jones is at 1st base.

Travinski is Hollywood bound. They are looking for the next Magnum, P. I.

He gone. His draft stock as shot through the roof since he has gotten into the lineup.

Probably, just because his main weakness would be a lack of position and i don't think he is going to become a MLB level defender in a year. I would love for him to stay because i think he could be a 30+ HR guy in college but i just don't see another year helping him.
