Is Toonces being axed from hats and shirts?

I ask because I was just browsing around lsushop.net for a birthday present for a friend, and out of the 400+ items they have listed under Men's Apparel on there, maybe 9 or 10 have the toonces head on them, and none with the full body.
The "eye" logo is much more prevalent on all of the gear.

You can't find the full body anymore, just the head; not LSU's logo anymore. I think they have finally gotten a clue and started just using the eye or old school logo.

I was talking to the owner of one of the LSU shops - complaining about Toonces as well. He said there are different types of apparel, and that the "eye" is LSU's "conference apparel" logo. I want Toonces to go away comletely - won't buy (and won't wear if a gift) anything with that logo on it.

The conversation was last year, so I don't remember specifically. At least it would seem to be a good sign that they didn't choose Toonces for the "conference logo". Maybe some poster has more current knowledge? (Fred D. if you're out there?)

I just had a little girl and people keep buying her toonces crap. In fact that's what she has on right now.

I almost wouldn't mind it if they kept the toonces logo for children's clothing, but change the adult clothing back to the original.

The one with just the head is not totally terrible, but the whole toonces was bad from the get go. Not just the toonces paws, but the fact that the swirl is not centered. 
I'll take the old tiger head or even the LSU with Tigers underneath over any of the new ones.
