I was super impressed too. First time in years I spent the entire game clapping and woo-hooing at the TV instead of screaming at it. Didn't even realize it until after the game. So much more pleasant viewing experience!

My SO, who is a UF grad (yeah, I know) used to always say the neighbors suspected he was beating me up every Sat from Aug - Jan was quite relieved lol

As most said, even with uncertainties on offense last year, Miami seemed overrated and LSU proved that. I was more confident for that one.

With that said, Texas lost a lot on D and will have issues with the quality of LSU's WRs and the new playcalling. Our run game wasn't that hot last night, but it was the first game and the passing game destroyed them. Also, I think our D will give just about everyone issues. After seeing our passing game even against a smaller school, I feel more confident even with Texas blowing out Tech.

I don't know if it's the "most". There was a long period of time not that long ago where I expected LSU to win literally every game we played. We didn't, but in that time period, I never once thought, going into a game, that we were gonna lose or were "in trouble".

Lot more confident against Miami last year. Maybe even Georgia. Being on the road makes a big difference. I think we are the better team but I don’t get folks thinking this is a going to be a cakewalk. Big games on the road are much harder to win compared to those at home or at neutral sites

I’m confident, but Texas isn’t a terrible team. There is a possibility things could go their way.

Both teams have something to prove. LSU showing the first game wasn’t a fluke and Texas proving to everyone they are BACK. We didn’t show Texas everything but enough to give them an idea what we are gonna do. We need to run the ball better IMO.

Nah, about like I felt before the Oregon game.
I'm optimistic but it's no sure thing

Texas is no pushover and they beat up on a pretty damn good Tech team that gave us all kinds of trouble last year

It was 24-7 at the half and the final was 38-21 but ok.
LSU is a different team this year too.
