I dont get it. People must have a really short attention span. This is why our news has been dumbed-down to sound-bites and one-sentence, scrolling tickers.

We won the '03 championship because of Saban's vision and commitment. We won the SEC on the field. We beat the no. 1 team in the country in the BCS championship game on the field. That team was talented and disciplined and did the small things well consistently enough to win a championship.

There are too many LSU fans that don't get it. It's why the administration knew that people would settle for O as HC because a critical mass of people think teams win championships primarily because of "luck". Those who try to hold the staff accountable are just "whiners" or "not man enough" or not "loyal LSU fans."

LSU can win championships without having someone named Nick Saban as head coach. It's not a mystery or based on luck or the fates. It involves being committed to excellence and demanding results from your multi-million dollar per year coaching staff.

LSU won't win if people are convinced it is based on luck. LSU won't win with the current level of sloth and corruption. That's the bottom line.
