Clearly no refs around to make that call.

Holding can be called on every play.

what a foolish statement. This is what makes manipulating the games so easy, but the purblind cannot see it. If that is the case then change the rules but enforce them with equity and uniformity.

He pulled so hard the defensive lineman nearly fell down. Are you drunk or just stupid?

Um, yeah it's holding and yes it affected the game. We could've had a two-score lead in the first half.
And anytime a defender is falling backward because the O-lineman has his arm hooked around him, it's holding, regardless of the open palm or not. We see this called as holding every week. Just not there. Right in front of two refs.
But no, we're not mad.

Could holding have been called? Probably, as it could on many, many plays on both sides. But LSU couldn't have gotten a better outcome (4th and goal pass that hits a defender in the hands) if the defender actually makes the play right in front of him.
Wrong. The right play is to KNOCK THE BALL DOWN because it was 4th down but our defender wanted an interception. Fundamentals cost LSU a touchdown there.

I know this isn't going to be a popular thing to say around here but I'm pretty sure most of you don't understand what holding is. You can be behind a guy or on the side of him with a hand on their chest still provided that you were keeping it inside of the shoulders and not grabbing and pulling anything. There is no holding in those pictures. I repeat no holding. You guys freak out every single game and keep yelling about holding calls and for the most part they aren't actually there

This might be the dumbest take on a play that shows every angle of the hold I've ever seen.

His right hand is pulling the front of his jersey and the left hand the back. Please explain the physics of the defender's body if you're trying to claim the OL isn't yanking him back with all of his energy.

Explain the handicap to your vision if you can't see it in the still shots.

What an absurd post in this circumstance.

It affects everything. Final score would be more along the lines of 44-20, they wouldn’t be #9, and we would be #1. Whoever brought up the entertainment factor and not pure sport, I’ve agreed wholeheartedly for years. Anyone can see that if they look objectively. Saints last year are all the proof you need.

That was bad too. It's why we've been saying they let shite go all night.

Thanks for your interest in LSU football though.

shite, that was all night long. I was screaming at the tv throughout most of the 2Q, that's when it seemed to be the most obvious.

And for those that say "watch again, LSU held too", I did watch again and I didn't see it. Our OL was fricking outstanding.

If it were truly done even-handedly that would be one thing, but there is clearly an agenda that does not include LSU winning...'
