Well, if Traore was better, then yes. But we have a very good picture at tackle this year. Two guys who were thrown into the fire earlier than they should have been, did fairly well, and are now experienced third year guys.

Mark my words...one of those NFL teams is going to give this kid a chance to play guard . ..and people will wonder what the heck was going on down there in Baton Rouge...just like Danielle Hunter

While our O Line hasn't been great these last couple of years, this is just a stupid thing to say.

O said this yesterday when asked about Deculus shifting inside: They feel he’s the best right tackle on the roster and has made improvements this offseason. If they pushed him inside then Traore plays RT, but he’s viewed as the third tackle by the staff and I guess the drop off at LG between Hines, Magee to Deculus is smaller than the drop off if Traore started at RT.
From what I was told last fall, the hope was to have Deculus swing inside and Rosenthal start at tackle. However, Rosenthal isn’t ready yet and has taken a bit longer to develop.

Didn’t O say Rosenthal has had an exceptional camp?
People forget he was a much higher rated OT but was insistent on playing DL so his rating dropped. O took him as DL but eventually convinced him that OL was his spot. Maybe he is the guy pushing AD inside.
