If not for David Patrick, Simmons wouldn't be here in the first place.

FIFY. Yes, I realize Johnny hired Patrick, but it was the godfather that brought Simmons here.

uh, no.

First off, the "youth" excuse doesn't fly in basketball. Secondly, of our top 7 in minutes per game, we have 2 seniors, 1 junior, 2 sophomores, and 2 freshmen. That's not young.

Though I'm personally disappointed with Jones' ability to maximize the potential of his team's talent, judging by the percentage of down votes you got the jury's still out amongst the ranters.

If so please list your reasoning so we can laugh at you

I don't really care for him to be fired because, though I'm of the opinion that he has not done a good job at all, I'm an adult whose quality of life has nothing to do with the success of LSU basketball.

Great...then what's the harm of giving someone else a shot to fix this dumpster fire....if indeed it doesn't affect you?

Is laughable to believe that 60 people think their comments will impact a decision on JJs future....the lonely sixty are a very sparse crowd.....

Pretty sure this qualifies as irony, but I'm going to need some others to weigh in.

Stopping dribble penetration and blocking out are effort pure and simple.

And its the coaches job to maximize the effort. This team looks the same has it did in game 1 has game 26, like shite!! CJJ isn't getting it done.

He doesn't need to be fired right now.

Yes. He does. There's no excuse for the way this season has turned out.

LSU basketball isn't Kentucky, Kansas, or UCLU, but it isn't Auburn, Alabama, or Ole Miss either. LSU should be able to hire an above average coach.

You support a coach who has one of the best players in America and LSU will barely finish above
.500... sheesh you're a goober.

Id rather him just resign. He seems like a nice guy and I'd hate for him to get fired, but I sure as hell don't want him coaching the Tigers next season.
