If I'm Scott Woodward, I'd have a plan in place to move it to Tiger Stadium. Talahassee is in the hurricane cone as well...pull a Jeremy Foley, Scott!!!!

There are many voices in the room, but only two that matter - ESPN and Florida Citrus Sports. LSU and FSU have no financial stake in this game, both have signed on to appear in this game for a fat check. The ultimate decisions on when and where will be made by the stakeholders, after all they are the ones on the hook for the payment of all expenses.

Crazier things have happened...having the game in Tiger Stadium sounds like a non-starter, but who knows.

It IS a non-starter. There is no way in HELL this game will take place in Tiger Stadium.

Read what the OP said about power outages

FPL has their shite together better than Entergy in Louisiana. Fortunately a lot of Florida's grid is buried in the highly developed areas of the state, including Orlando. If something were to halt this game, it would not be related to the hurricane.

First off, as an aside, Florida is leaving tomorrow enroute to Utah via an overnight in Dallas.

The longer things go without a contingency plan in place, I would never say never...

This is far from an unusual contingency and plans are long under consideration I'm sure. Let’s hope the worst case scenario is the team leaves BR later than usual and therefore outdoor practice, if possible, will be shorten, curtailed and pretty sloppy.

There are always contingency plans and there’s plenty of time to implement them if necessary post storm.

Florida is way more prepared for hurricanes than any other state.

It will be four days after the storm has passed. It will be played.

60 miles is not well inland. Especially with their lack of marsh area off the coast.

For reference, everything south of I-10 in Lafayette is considered inside 30 miles of the coast in the eyes of insurance.

I'm not sure why the hate for the OP. It's a valid point. If this thing takes the projected course, Orlando will be under TS conditions beginning this evening/early morning before hitting hurricane conditions. They're on the strong side of the storm for over 24 hours.

Us Louisiana people should understand the infrastructure toll alone.
