Is there a catch 22 in this situation, with LSU working with SEC compliance, daily?

If LSU is really checking in with the SEC daily... then that means they are forcing the SEC to approve or deny what they are doing daily.
So, doesnt that put the SEC in a weird position? Youve said you'll comply, for the time being, which means you're authorizing LSU, yourself. Otherwise, youre in contempt.
By doing so, you dont really have an avenue to later punish retroactively.
Furthermore, is that why the schools have now met without Sankey there? To try and .. act .. NOT as the SEC?
It feels to me like they are playing mental gymnastics.
1. If you expel LSU, then youre doing it as the SEC.
2. If you boycott, as a group, you're doing it as the SEC.
3. Now that the meeting today has been leaked, id figure a head has to roll for organizing the meeting if it can be proven. Its collusion. It was done solely on the basis as trying to act as a conference without the conference title involved, which is funny, because no individual school has the authority to do anything without the others, which, again... is acting as a conference.

Have we broken any rules at this point? Existing or new? Putting them on the practice squad doesn't put them on the roster.

There are no decisions to be made until Thursday. Then, everyone can react accordingly. Until then, this is all a bunch of performative, posturing b.s. Both sides will abide by the court order. Maybe a federal suit will be filed after, who knows?

No attorney here but wouldn’t boycotting and threatening exclusion etc be a classic collusion case? I really think this is all just step two of trying to scare us out of these players. The Sankey threat of huge punishments didnt work and so they backed off quick so now they are trying this to see if it works knowing they wont do it. Present a strong front and scare them into doing what you want them to do type deal. Worked with Texas Tech but this is totally different situation. How he is clearing everything daily they can’t do anything. Quite confident they aren’t going to boycott any games either due to money and how that would look. It’s basically other schools pushing their chips to go all in knowing they have nothing in their hand. Big bluff move

LSUis always free to leave, it is a voluntary association. No collusion.

Which is why the discussion is being “member driven.” The SEC front office can say one thing and have the members do something behind the scenes.
