LSU was suppose to have this deep bullpen, but this weekend it seems Texas basically exposed them again and they look no different than any other year!

Why would JJ have brought in Yeskie if he’s subpar?

He's not very good at calling pitches during a game. Two years in a row where the pitches called with 2 strikes are horrible.

3 loses! What’s problem? Coaches still learning where pitchers fit in. STOP!

Yeski was straight arse at Aggy and he wasn’t a world beater.

He could get it back but it looks like it’s a toss up if he is washed or not.

Even the great JJ can make a bad hire. I love JJ and think he is perfect for the program but Yeskie might have been washed up. Let’s see how the rest of sec play goes and if our bullpen continues its walk fest then it’s time to fire Yeski

His pitch calling with 2 strikes is pretty bad. Also obvious he doesn’t work on command with his pitchers

We have some of the most uncompetitive pitches coming out of our pen guys. When they are wild they aren’t missing by an inch h they are missing by a foot over and over

He’s the picture of mediocrity. Terrible teacher obviously.

At what point in the season can fans be allowed to criticize the pitching coach? Is it halfway through conference play? How long do they have to learn before we can say well they don’t have the depth they promised in the fall?

I will admit I don’t know a ton about baseball. But by the end of last year wasn’t our pitching elite? I know it was a rough weekend but I still think there’s a good chance the pitching is elite by the end of the year again.

Yeakie deserves some blame but I’ve seen far too many scapegoat him without Jay getting much blame

Friday the pitching and hitting was good

Saturday the pitching and hitting were ok until the back half of the game and BOTH underperformed

Today, it was the bats that failed us more than anything. You won’t win many games scoring 2 runs on a Sunday in the SEC

I mean all of these guys are uber talented, it’s there. Yeskie just has to unlock it consistently. Consistence is key. Yeskie has the history so he’s got to be doing something right but if he can’t get this talent to play well then yes he is the problem

So elite we didn’t host a win the sec tournament didn’t host or win a regional! That’s the elite we love now!

Let’s not act like pitching was great before Yeskie. Outside of 3 weeks at the end of 2023 and Skenes the entire staff has been pedestrian all 3.25 years now.

No, it CJ. He used up our 2nd best pitcher in a game that was already won. This is why the tigers lost the series. Disagree if you want but it’s the truth.
