Is the Heisman voting before or after the SEC championship game?

Voting lists go out right before and are due back after the game. Some people will submit before the game, but most will wait until Sunday or Monday after to submit.

Listening to a national college broadcast on Sirius this weekend, there was a member of the media on and he was also a voter for the heisman. He said that there was a survey done a couple years back and that 70% of the voting with the voters was done before the championship games. He was not in that percentile. That he chose to vote after the championship games.
